Many of the children we serve are not just living in poverty—they are survivors of war. Some lost their parents in brutal conflict. Others were born as a result of rape used as a weapon of war. Many more have been left to navigate life alone, vulnerable and forgotten.

Last summer, we treated dozens of these children who were suffering from painful jigger infections—many of whom could no longer walk. Today, thanks to generous support, they are walking again. Smiling. Learning. Healing.
